Celebrate Earth Day with a behind-the-scenes tour of the Recycling Center! We’ll cover:
- The dozens of additional materials collected for recycling in Emmet County ONLY at the Pleasantview Road Drop-off Center
- What we do with the materials you recycle everyday
- What your recyclables are made into and where
- All your recycling questions!

REGISTRATION REQUIRED (This tour is limited to 25 participants)

CHILDREN:
For safety reasons, please no children under 6 years of age.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
DRESS FOR SUCCESS:
Wear fully enclosed shoes.
Layer up as necessary to be outdoors for roughly an hour.
The Pleasantview Drop-off Center will be closed.
Curbside will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week. EXCEPTION: Due to DPW staffing patterns, curbside service in Bay View is always on Thursdays.
Look for our blue lidded recycling bins in Harbor Springs to recycle bottles, cans and cups
Look for our trucks in the Harbor Springs, Petoskey and Alanson parades.
