Recycling Center Tour for Earth Day @ Pleasantview Road Drop-off Center | Harbor Springs | Michigan | United States

Come tour the Emmet County Recycling Center!  You will learn about what happens to the materials you recycle and perhaps discover a couple of new things you can recycle.  This tour is with North Central Michigan College’s Environmental Policy Class so will include extra information on the county’s policies regarding recycling and landfilling.

RESERVATIONS REQUIRED so we know to expect you!  Call 231-348-0640 or message Recycle@EmmetCounty.org to make your reservation.

For your safety and comfort:

  • Children 6 years old and older are welcome, but must be accompanied and closely supervised by an adult.
  • Please dress to be out doors for an hour.
  • Wear fully closed shoes (no sandals or slip-on style shoes).  Please do not wear high or narrow heels.

  • What your recyclables are made into and where
  • All your recycling questions!
